locatespain is a property finding service for people buying a home in Spain. It is not an estate agency: we do not own a portfolio of properties and we are not trying to sell you the ones we happen to have. We work for the buyer, and we have done since 2003.

The service runs alongside an estate agency, and the two are kept apart on purpose: someone paying to have a property found for them should never wonder whether they are being steered towards a particular house. locatespain does one thing — you say what you are looking for, and we go and find it.

Twenty years of local knowledge

The service is run from Almería by a team that has been working with buyers in Spain since 2003, and that deals with forty to fifty estate agents across the country. That is the whole point of paying someone to search for you: we already know which areas are worth your money and which agents are worth your time.

You will not be passed between departments. The same person who takes your requirements is the one who calls the agents, and the one who tells you honestly when what you are asking for does not exist at the price you have in mind.

Clear & Transparent

How we are paid, in plain English

Two ways, and neither of them is a percentage of what you spend. You pay €110 or £110€110£110 for twelve months of searching, 21 % Spanish IVA included. When you buy a property through one of the agents we introduce you to, that agent pays us a share of their own commission. You never pay us more than the registration fee, and the price of the property does not go up because you came through us.
